I’ve been noticing as the flowers in the planters have started to sprout that something has been nibbling the tops off of them. They’re still growing, they’re just a bit mangled.
The other day I was looking out the window and saw the culprit so I took some photos of it. You can see in the picture below an innocent looking bunny rabbit, which seems to be healthy and well fed. I’m guessing this little guy/gal has been nibbling at the plants. I took a lot of pictures but this is the one which turned out best.
There’s been some other creatures wandering around the yard, but I don’t think this next one has been eating my plants. Probably just hunting bunnies. The video below was taken with a Bushnell ‘Trophy Cam’. It’s a motion activated wildlife camera with infrared lighting that can shoot video or stills when the sensor is tripped. The camera shoots black and white and night and full color during the day.

animals prowling there at night. Really made me smile seeing the bunny and curious cat. My bet would be on the rabbit too. He is kind of different looking compared to our bunny Hoppy and other bunnies I have seen. I guess they grow them different in NY state. Grin. Love you honey. Nice talking to you today. I will have to send a text and photo more often. haha. You are a great son. I am a lucky Mom. I have been checking every day for a new houseblog.
