Fun with Cascade Multipliers(Crockoft/Walton)
All of these video captures(hence the low image quality) are of a 25KV cascade with it's original input being around 8kv, I used a 9kV NST to power the thing. Unfortunatly the multiplier died, but not before I got some good video and pics. There will be video in the video section of these as soon as I can get a proper capture.
One Inch Spark
This is a spark about 1" in length, repetition rate was pretty good.
Two Inch Spark
This is a spark about 2" in length, repitition was slower than 1"
Three Inch Spark
These are 3" long sparks, fire rate was pretty slow.
Three Inch spark
Another shot of the 3" long sparks :)
Powerful Spark from Capacitor
This is about a 2.5" spark(if you could see it). the cascade was connected to a 9000pf cap.
